1. What methods of payment do you accept?

The Medical Shop website can accept payment by Credit or Debit card. We accept Visa, Delta, Switch, Maestro and Mastercard.

If you need to pay by cheque or postal order, simply download the order form and send it to our freepost address with a cheque or postal order.

2. Can I place an order over the phone?

Of course you can! Simply call 0800 731 6959.

3. Are credit card transactions over the internet safe?

The Medical Shop website uses the Barclays secure ePDQ system to ensure all orders are securely carried out online.

5. How long will it take for my order to reach me?

We aim to despatch all orders within 3 working days via First Class Post (subject to product availability). Depending on the postal service in your area, your order should arrive within a couple of days

If you need your goods urgently, we recommend you use Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. These orders will arrive the next day (Monday to Friday). However, we cannot guarantee that they will be delivered at the weekend.

Occasionally, some products are out of stock. When this happens, we will place a notification of this next to the product. Once the product is back in stock we will update the relevant information.


6. What if I’m not at home when my order arrives?

Royal Mail will place a postcard through your door to let you know that they tried to deliver your goods. The post card will give you their contact details so that you can arrange an alternative delivery.


7. Can you deliver my order to my work address?

Yes. We can deliver to virtually any address in the UK! Simply type in your work address as the delivery address when you place your order. We will also need the address to which your Credit/ Debit Card is registered, so we can process your order.


8. Do you accept orders from outside the UK?

Unfortunately, we do not. Medical Shop is a UK only service.


9. What happens if part of my order is out of stock?

For any item that is out of stock there will be a message with the product indicating that this product is out of stock.

If an item goes out of stock after you place your order, we will email or telephone you to let you know, so you can decide whether you would like to wait for the item to come back into stock, or whether you would like us to refund the cost of the item to your card.


10. What if I have a question?

Simply call our free phone number 0800 731 6959. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. Outside office hours, you can leave a message on our answer phone. Alternatively, feel free to use the “Contact Us” form in on the contact us page.


11. Do you have any shops?

Medical Shop does not have any shops. However, if you live near Woodstock, Oxfordshire you can come to our offices to place your order. Please call us before you come, so that we can make sure the goods you want are in stock.


12. What is your returns policy?

Please look at our Refund Policy for information under the Terms and Condition section.


13. VAT

The VAT chargeable for each product is displayed where applicable. Some products are VAT exempt if you have a valid VAT exemption certificate. You will be asked for this information where purchasing through the checkout and the VAT will be adjusted to reflect this.


14. Are any of your products available on prescription?

Some of our products are available on prescription. These products are all marked “available on prescription.” When a product is marked available on prescription – ask your GP for a prescription and take the prescription to your local pharmacy to obtain the product. Alternatively, you can buy it from Medical Shop without a prescription. Please do not send us your prescriptions, as we are unable to process them.


15. Can I see my previous orders?

Yes. Once you have set up your account you will be able to store the details of every order you make from 2008 onwards. Simply log into the site to bring up the details of your orders. Useful if you know you ordered something but can’t remember the name of the product!
